Asian Pacific American Law Student Association (APALSA)

Lawyering for Reproductive Justice transforms the law and policy landscape through advocacy, support, and organizing so all people have the power to determine if, when, and how to define, create, and sustain families with dignity and to actualize sexual and reproductive wellbeing on their own terms

Immigrant Rights Coalition (IRC)

The purpose of the Immigrant Rights Coalition (IRC) is to defend and advocate for the rights of immigrants in our community through outreach and education.

Intellectual Property Law Society (IPLS)

IPLS is an organization for students interested in intellectual property law. IPLS hosts events with guest speakers in the intellectual property field, provides networking opportunities for students and local intellectual property attorneys, and is a forum for the discussion of current topics relating to intellectual property law and policy.

International Law Society (ILS)

The International Law Society works to increase an interest in and understanding of issues of international, transnational, and comparative law.

Jewish Law Student Association (JLSA)

The purpose of JLSA is to promote Jewish leadership in the legal community. We strive to promote educational, professional, and social needs within the legal community by connecting Jewish values with our peers.

J. Reuben Clark Law Society (JRCLS)

The J. Reuben Clark Law Society is an international organization of lawyers who are devoted to helping the lawyer and law student recognize the strength that can be brought to the law by the lawyer's personal religious convictions.

La Voz

La Voz is the Latino Law Student Association at the William S. Boyd School of Law whose primary focus is to empower and promote the success of law students with backgrounds that are not traditionally represented in the legal profession.

Middle Eastern Law Students Association (MELSA)

The goal of the Middle Eastern Law Students Association (MELSA) is to encourage unity among a diverse student body and promote an understanding of various Middle Eastern cultures.

National Lawyers Guild (NLG)

For over 80 years, the National Lawyers Guild has acted as the legal arm of social movements and the conscience of the legal profession. We seek to use law for the people; uniting lawyers, law students, legal workers, and jailhouse lawyers to function as an effective force in the service of the people by valuing human rights and ecosystems over property interests.

Native American Law Student Association (NALSA)

The purpose of the Native American Law Students Association is to articulate and promote the professional needs and goals of Native American law students and their allies in Native American law.

Nevada Law Journal (NLJ)

The Nevada Law Journal is a legal scholarship publication run by UNLV Law School students, dedicated to providing law and policy analysis.

Organization of Psychology and Law (OPAL)

OPAL seeks to address the gap between the fields of law and mental health (psychology, psychiatry, etc). OPAL recognizes that misunderstanding between the fields has real implications for justice and seeks to educate members of the legal community about how mental health affects their clients, thereby creating better advocacy through empathy and understanding.

The Organization for Women Law Students (OWLS) is for any law student dedicated to supporting women in the legal profession.

OUTLaws

The mission and purpose of OUTLaws is to program, sponsor, and otherwise provide information, programming, events, and philanthropic opportunities related to issues of sexuality, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, and queer theory as they relate to the law and legal practice.

The Public Interest Law Association (PILA) at the William S. Boyd School of Law is a non-profit, student organization that works closely with students, faculty, and members of the community to raise awareness about public interest work and opportunities available to law students.

Rural Nevada Law Association

The Rural Nevada Law Association (RNLA) is dedicated to addressing the unique legal needs and challenges of rural communities across Nevada. Our mission is to connect law students, legal professionals, and community leaders to promote access to justice and foster a deeper understanding of the legal issues impacting Nevada’s rural areas.

Student Bar Association (SBA)

The purpose of the Student Bar Association (SBA) Executive Board and Board of Governors is to act as a means for student self-governance.

Sports and Entertainment Law Association (SELA)

To provide career development in the area of sports and entertainment law. The organization committed to establishing a reputable curriculum in this specific area of law, and increasing student exposure to the industry.

The William S. Boyd School of Law Society of Advocates (SOA) is an honorary, co-curricular organization whose members represent the school in interscholastic advocacy competitions all over the country. It seeks to foster in its members superior written and oral advocacy, counseling and dispute resolution skills by providing inter-scholastic competition experience.
