In light of the historic election of President Barack Obama, the increasing statutory repeal of Affirmative Action programs in law school admissions, the national debate to include sexual orientation as a protected class, and the minimal increases in the number of licensed lawyers who are women and/or members of a racial/ethnic minority…
 
The students of the William S. Boyd School of Law are hosting a moderated panel discussion on DIVERSITY. This discussion will include questions posed by the student body about: the definition, history, future, importance, obstacles and unique challenges facing all attorneys as the profession seeks to embrace and successfully interact with clients, co-workers and others who represent diversity in all its forms.
 
This event is free and open to the public.
