Ellie Roohani received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2004. She graduated from the Boyd School of Law in 2010, was a dean’s award recipient, and was the part-time class student speaker. While attending law school, Ellie was Editor-in-Chief of the Nevada Law Journal. Her article, "Covenants Not to Compete in Nevada: A Proposal," was published in the journal's fall 2009 issue. Additionally, she was selected the Community Service Program Student of the Year, placed first in the Ninth Annual Clark County Moot Court Competition, and was a founding member of La Voz, the Hispanic Law Student Association. Ellie also externed in Federal District Court, with the Las Vegas City Attorney’s Office, and in the Trump Organization.
As the Assistant Director of the Academic Success Program, Ellie gives individual counseling on academic matters, time management, and necessary legal skills. Ellie also conducts group presentations on succeeding in law school.
