Boyd Alumnus to Receive Autism Advocate Award
Boyd alumnus and Assemblyman James Ohrenschall '09 will receive this year's Autism Advocate Award from the Grant a Gift Autism Foundation at its first annual "Fashion for Autism Las Vegas" event on Jan. 22 at The Four Seasons Ballroom.

Boyd Students Win Essay Contest
Boyd students Kimberly E. Loges and Christian Balducci won first and second place, respectively, in the inaugural Nevada Professionalism Summit Essay Contest. The awards were presented at the Clark County Bar Association luncheon held on Jan. 21.

Saltman Center Presents a Conference on "Conflict Resolution and the Economic Crisis" Feb. 12-13
The Saltman Center for Conflict Resolution at the Boyd School of Law, UNLV, the Clark County Family Mediation Center, and the Clark County Neighborhood Justice Center will sponsor a conference on February 12-13, 2010 entitled: "The Economic Crisis and Conflict Resolution." Read more.

PILA to Host Annual Spring Auction Feb. 26
The 11th Annual PILA Auction will be held on Friday, February 26, 2010 at the Fremont Hotel & Casino in downtown Las Vegas. PILA will be honoring Nevada Supreme Court Justice James Hardesty. The event will be emceed by Channel 8 News Las Vegas Anchor Dave Courvoisier.
