Services @ Wiener-Rogers

Services for the UNLV Community

The Wiener-Rogers Law Library welcomes members of the University community to its facilities and collections.

Research and Reference Assistance

Reference librarians, who have both JDs and graduate degrees in information science, are available to assist UNLV students and faculty in locating sources, using databases, developing research strategies, and finding a wide variety of information. Members of the UNLV community may reach a reference librarian by visiting the Library, calling 895-2420, or sending an email to reference@law.unlv.edu.

Instructional Support

University faculty are encouraged to incorporate the Law Library’s collections and services in their course offerings. Small classes are invited to visit the Library for tours and/or specialized research training conducted by Library faculty. Alternatively, Library faculty may be requested to visit University classes to introduce students to legal research resources and methods. To request instruction or to schedule a visit, please contact Jeanne Price (jeanne.price@unlv.edu; 895-2404).

Circulation

Members of the University community may check out circulating books from the Law Library. Check-out periods for faculty are semester-long, while students check out materials for three week periods. Materials may be renewed online. Late Fees are assessed on materials returned after the due date.
