  Professor Edwards joins UNLV Law as a Visiting Professor of Law for 2008-09. A leader in the field of Legal Writing and Research, Professor Edwards is the Macon Professor of Law and the Director of the Legal Writing Program at Mercer University School of Law. She is a founding member of the Persuasion Institute of the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts and is active in many ABA and AALS sections.

After practicing law for 11 years, Professor Edwards began law teaching at the New York University School of Law in 1987, where she served as the Coordinator of the Lawyering Program. She has authored three books and numerous articles on legal research and writing and property law. Professor Edwards will teach Property I, Property II, and Wills, Trusts and Estates at UNLV.
