Secular Legal Society (SLS)

The Secular Legal Society promotes the First Amendment guarantee of separation of Church and State. This multicultural group values the principle of free-thought, and strives to ensure the fair and equitable treatment of people of all religious beliefs, or lack thereof.

The mission of the Secular Legal Society is to advocate for the separation of church and state as outlined in the Establishment and Free Exercise Clauses of the First Amendment to the United States Constitution and to endorse government neutrality towards, and equal rights for, all religious and secular Americans.

SLS also strives to educate people about the interaction between religion and law in the United States while supporting the local community through organized service projects and volunteer work.
